This is because many of them use multicast technology, but the HH doesn't send multicast via WiFi. (Most apps, like Netflix, will still work). The way I worked around this was to connect a WiFi access point to the HH via Ethernet, then connect the WiFi adapter to the WiFi AP. This works fine for me.
