Not sure if you know this, but there's a Windows 10 native VPN client issue with this build. To get around, you have to search for "VPN Settings", and connect to VPN from that Windows. I'm not sure why Windows releases updates without testing first!
We have successfully negotiated the Client VPN on both Win10 and macOS. Still no luck with an iOS 11.4 device. Which makes me believe that is iOS related and not in the configuration of the MX or the gateway. There is/was a VPN client for Mac OSX which you can still download. But modern versions of OSX have the Cisco IPSec VPN client built into them. The problem was that every time when I tried to connect via Cisco AnyConnect Client it kept looping through the connection and never made it connect. The fix is quite simple actually, go to Network Connections from Control Panel, right-click Cisco AnyConnect Security Mobility Client Connection, and choose Properties. Secure VPN connection terminated locally by the client. Reason 440: driver failure. I do recall this happened when I upgrade to windows 8.1, and I did the same registry change, unfortunately it does not work.
Oct 28, 2015 · Work Machine - Windows 10 Pro with latest updates. Cisco VPN Client. Yes the old one. You get SonicWall, tweak the registry and it works. I could RDP into servers, Win7 machines, and VMs. Just my new Win10 machine wouldn't allow connection. My fix was the actual firewall on the work computer side.
